Links have been provided to each of the funding and administrative agencies for quick reference to their functions. The Alabama Rural Transit Assistance Program is funded by the Federal Transit Administration through the Alabama Department of Transportation. The national RTAP website is located at www.nationalrtap.org which is maintianed by the American Public Works Association. This website is edited by the Local Technical Assistance Program in the Auburn University College of Engineering.

Alabama RTAP Videotape Lending Library

Alabama Technology Transfer Center maintains a videotape lending library for the Alabama RTAP Program. Videotapes are loaned for a period of two weeks. Usually the tapes are loaned out two or three titles at a time to keep them all in circulation. When notes are indicated as Yes, one set of notes is mailed with the videotape. The set of notes may be kept by the borrower when the videotape is returned.

There are also three Commercial Driver License (CDL) videotapes prepared by the Pennsylvania DOT, which are designed to help drivers with CDL training and testing procedures. The videotapes are designed to be used without an instructor, but in conjunction with the CDL Manual. The complete package consists of three videotapes covering nine subject areas:
